- Bring light, fast drying clothes and swimwear
- Use a hat or a sombrero to avoid sunstrokes
- Travel light. Only is permitted 10 Kg in the plane and 5 Kg of hand luggage.

HEALTH
- It´s recommendable to use sunblock cream all day
- It´s very important to constantly drink enough water, as the humidity is very high. Preferably bring your own drinking bottle.
- The yellow fever vaccination is not obligatory.
OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS
- Follow the instructions of the functionaries of the historical attractions, natural parks, guides and people that brings you the tourism services. Respect the rules of the natural parks.
- Bring a light and a personal first aid kit
- Take your garbage with you, don´t throw it in the beaches. Carry it in garbage bags until you deposit in an adequate place for its treatment.
- Save Water! Take short showers and turn off the air conditioner when you left your room.
- During the whales watching, use the lifejacket and attend the guide instructions.
- It is forbidden drink alcohol, throw food, garbage or other elements to the sea.
- Buy crafts and souvenirs, pay a fair price for this elements, in that way you help to support local artist and vulnerable communities.

NATURAL HERITAGE
NATIONAL NATURAL PARK UTRIA
Humpback or Yubarta whale (Megaptera novaeangliae) is the flagship species of the park. This whale chooses Uramba Malaga Bay, its warm water conditions used to raising their calves and to reproduce. Their odyssey starts from southern Chile, where they feed. Then travel up to 8,000 kilometers, through the National Park Gorgona, until the Utría National Park, providing them shelter and secure rest areas for calving, breeding and reproduction.
