Some of the sites and regions of Colombia have been declared by UNESCO either as Cultural or Natural World Heritage. Two natural site: Los Katios Natural Park and Malpelo Flora and Fauna Sancturary and five cultural sites: Coffee Cultural Landscape, Historic Centre of Santa Cruz de Mompox, National Arqueological Park Tierradentro, Port, Fortresess and group of monuments in Cartagena and San Agustin Arqueological National Park.   • Qhapaq Ñan – Camino Principal Andino
     
    Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru share a common cultural heritage of outstanding value: the Qhapaq Ñan, or Main Andean Road. Qhapaq Ñan otherwise know as the Main Andean Road, was the backbone of the Inca Empire’s political and economic power. The whole network of roads over 23,000 km in length connected various production, administrative and ceremonial centres constructed over more than 2,000 years of pre-Inca Andean culture. This route covers south of Colombia until Pasto City. Declared World Heritage in 2014.
